12 uses for Dr. Paw Paw Multipurpose ‘wonder’ Balm

The best way to describe Dr. Paw Paw Balm is to say that it’s a 21st century version of the stable beauty product, Vasline (petroleum jelly). I doubt there’s a home in Ireland that doesn’t have a jar knocking around.

I have been using Dr. Paw Paw Balms for months and it has become a handbag essential, emphasis on the essential! This multi-purpose balm is an award winning formula made from a variety of natural ingredients including Papaya extract Pawpaw, Olive Oil and Aloe Vera, that won’t only flood your lips and skin with moisture and nourishment but also protect and sooth.

There are so many uses for Dr. Paw Paw Balm, here are my favourite uses:

Lip Balm

This is the most common use for Dr. Paw Paw Balm. It is super nourishing and leaves a lovely sheen on lips for a natural gloss effect. Tinted Peach Pink Balm or Tinted Ultimate Red Balm gives a lovely hint of colour to the lips too.

Using a pea size amount, apply to cheeks using your ring finger in patting motions for a lovely hint of colour. The Tinted Peach Pink Balm applied to the apples of the cheeks gives a lovely warm glow to the face.

If you suffer from sever dry skin or dry flaky patches, use some Dr. Paw Paw Balm for a few nights and it will help restore and sooth skin.

If you’re opting for a long lasting foundation and are prone to dry skin, Dr. Paw Paw original balm is great as a primer. It will prohibit your skin from taking the moisture from your foundation and leaving foundation looking patchy.

Using your ring finger, pat on Dr. Paw Paw Original palm to your cheek bones and under brow bone for a natural dewy look.

Brow Gel

Using a mascara wand, comb some Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm through brows to enhance them, keep hairs in place, and nourish hair. It is a great primer for brow powder / gel to help it last longer too.

Keep eyelashes nourished and prep them for mascara using Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm. It will stop your mascara flaking off and reduce the panda eye look.

Eye Shadow & Primer

Use Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm as an eye shadow primer to give your eye shadow an intense colour playoff or to help glitter and pigments stick to the eyelids without irritation. The Tinted Peach Pink Balm is a lovely pop of glow to the eyes and a great colour match to a smokey eye look.

Hair Treatment

Massage Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm along dry frizzy hair for a sleek look. It’s also great for fly away hairs that need taming.

Sunburn & Skin Irritation

Dr. Paw Paw is packed full of aloe vera and olive oil to help sooth and nourish sunburnt skin and help restores much needed moisture. Thanks to incredible healing properties of the Papaya extract Pawpaw, this Balm helps reduce skin irritations and reactions.

Hand & Nail Cream

If you’ve got dry, flaky or even chapped skin on your hands from chemical use, excessive hand washing or just simply from the cold weather, apply a layer of Dr. Paw Paw Original formula and allow to soak in over night. Seán’s doctor recently took me up on this recommendation and it’s now a desk essential for her.

If your feet and heels are dry and cracked, give them a quick exfoliation before bed and apply a layer of Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm for a surge of moisture.

At the RRP of €7.50 for a 25ml tube, you can pick up Dr. Paw Paw practically anywhere. It’s one of those products that is stocked where ever you see a cosmetic range. For starters it’s available in pharmacies nation wide, online from Cara Pharmacy here, and most large supermarket chains. Penny’s recently began selling a special 10ml tube for €4.25.

Will you be layer up with this multi purpose Dr. Paw Paw Balm?
