Lancôme Absolue Precious Cells is by far the most luxurious skincare collection I have ever lavished my skin in, but is the hefty price tag worth it? The collection claims to visibly repair and recover your skin, for visible signs of younger-looking skin. It helps to deeply replenish moisture and improve skin’s elasticity and clarity for visible signs of younger-looking skin. But that’s a claim we read so often see with a lot of skincare brands so, what’s so original about Lancôme Absolue?
This collection is the result of 20 years of stem cell research, and offers exceptional regenerating skincare enriched with green-tech molecules, such as Pro-Xylane. Inspired by nature and developed using advanced green chemistry, Lancôme associated this powerful ingredient with precious oils to help reveal a more youthful appearance.
It’s all very science like but reads want to know, does it work? I’ve been using the Lancôme Absolue day cream, night cream and the eye cream. After one week, MY GAWD, it’s fab!
Let me start with the eye cream because after all that’s the first facial area to show signs of ageing. Even thought I’m only in my, ahem, early 30’s, I have a lot of expression lines, what can I say, I’m very expressive when I talk! I have been trying to tackle these lines for yonks, I could sell ye eye cream lads, but, Lancôme Absolue Precious Cells Eye Cream is faboosh! It’s thicker in consistence compared to other eye creams I have used but I really felt the benefits. Even though I’m not using this cream for as long as I usually would before reviewing, I can already see a difference. The eye area is much firmer and the tiny expression lines have been plumped up so this eye cream gets a thumbs up from me. However, I must stress, unless the eye area is a problematic area for you, you won’t see a difference and with the hefty price tag, try something a little lighter.
Lancôme Absolue Precious Cells day and night cream are too creams that are pure skincare luxury. These creams melts into the skin and envelops the skin in silky comfort and there’s no oily residue left on the skin so you won’t be left with a big shiny bulb. Like I said, I’m very expressive so my facial expression lines have decided to leave a permanent imprint on my face (cheers!) but I can already see a difference after this short time. So yes, skin recovers with visible signs of younger skin.
Upon waking with Lancôme Absolue Precious Cells Night Cream, my skin did look more radiant, felt supple and it was certainly smoother to the touch. By day 7 my skin texture was definitely more refined and hydrated. Signs of fatigue was slightly minimized and my skin looked rested so I’m excited to see how my skin will look after another few weeks!
Price point on this collection ain’t cheap by any means. I wouldn’t recommend it for normal or young skin, definitely suitable for the mature skins. If you are tackling the effects of ageing on your skin and noticing expression lines are leaving a lasting impression and ain’t going away, then give this a try.
